No ring-back during call transfer

H.323 Gateway 7750

MOH works as advertised when placing caller on hold. And during a transfer sequence, MOH plays during the time a subscriber is entering digits. When the transfer is complete and the caller should be hearing a ring-back, he hears 'dead-air' instead. I recall a while back this was a gateway issue (progress-ind..), but I have forgotten. Any suggestions?

These are the progress-ind I use. I had a simular problem from PSTN to h323 gateway.

I used these on my POTS peer

progress_ind alert enable 8

progress_ind progress enable 8

progress_ind connect enable 8

This on my VoIP peer

progress_ind setup enable 3

That problem is related with the IOS version of you voice gateway. try looking for a newer IOS image for your voice gateway. That happened to me with a VG 200 and a resolved this issue changing the IOS image.

The IOS image I used (for the VG 200) was:

vg200-i6s-mz.122-4.T7.bin
