No ringback in a QSIG connection to an Ericsson MD-110 PBX
I have a E1 controller in a 2610XM gateway connected to a MD-110 PBX, configured with QSIG signaling. The problem is that I am not receiving the ringback in the IP phones (no problem in the phones connected to MD-110). Same router with same configuration connected to Siemens HiPath works fine.
Re: No ringback in a QSIG connection to an Ericsson MD-110 PBX
I am assuming the call is made from IP Phone and it is not receiving ringback. In this case IP Phone expects inband ringback tones and either Ericsson MD-110 PBX or Cisco GW is not cutting through the voice path. I guess Ericsson PBX is not providing the ringback and you may need to configure "progress_ind" commands under dial-peer to enable the 2610 GW to provide the ringback tone. Refer this URL for exact configurations.

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
