No ringback when placing Avaya to CCM calls

I have an Avaya TDM phone installation that is integrated to an IPT CallManager network via T1-CAS MGCP gateway. When calls are initiated from IPT network to Avaya network, ringbacks are heard on IPT phones. However, when placing a call from the Avaya TDM phones into the CallManager IPT network, no ringbacks are heard (IPT phone rungs and calls proceed successfully). Below is my gateway config:

I would first suggest addedd the two following commands:

"mgcp bind media source-interface

'mgcp bind control souce-interface

We need to verify that the gateway is sending ringback to the PBX now.

Would you capture a:

debug vtsp all

debug vtsp tone

while making a call from a PBX phone to a IP phone. CCM trace will be useful here, could you please send me the calling party number, the called party number, and the exact time of the call with the debug output.

Need to check the RQNT (S: G/rt) in the MGCP process.

If I remember correctly, in the Avaya side for the trunk group type Which one you have: ?Tandem? or ?Tie?.

In the Trunk group parameters in & out signaling: ?WINK/WINK? vs ?WINK/DELAY? ?

I ended up opening a TAC case on this and thought I would pass on the resolution. An MGCP packet debug indicated that the Avaya PBX was sending an extra digit. Although Avaya integration documents on CCO suggested the Avaya trunk be set to "tandem", the TAC engineer found a previous case with similar symptoms that was corrected by setting the Avaya trunk to "tie".

We had the Avaya trunk changed to "tie" and that cured the problem!
