It sounds like you need to enable the progress indicator on your gateway. On our VG200, I have the following command in my dial-peer section:

progress_ind setup enable 3

Good Luck.

Steve

It depends on the gateway and the telco. If you have an h.323 gateway and you are calling out to the pstn you need to do a progress_ind alert enable 8 on the outbound pots dial-peer you are hitting. If you are doing Pri you need to look at the ISDN messaging to see if you are getting alerting back from the telco. A little more info on your setup would be helpful. Like the type of voice interface and the gateway you are using.

Thank you,

We are using H.323 gateway which is doing PRI. I have changed calling and called numbers at debug isdn q931. I see Alerting is coming but not leaving from the router. And if I type command progress_ind progress enable 8 on

the dial-peer nothing gonna change. Any ideas?

Martin
