I have not encountered a software issue surrouning this. One thing I can think of is placement of the phone. Is it near anything that can cause interference, such as cell phones or other powered devices/lines? Are your network connections running close to anythin that could provide interference? For example.... If you place a cell phone next to a 7960 an receive an incommng call to that cell phone, or dial it, you will hear interference. Is this issue happening to one or all of your 7960s?
