non VoIP PVCs link speeds and FR Traffic Shaping

hallo

we have 6 branch offices connected in an hub and spoke FR wan topology to a central main office.

Each site access-rate (physical serial interface line speed) is HDSL 2048kbps and all PVCs in central site use the same serial interface on router.

Only in one PVC we have VoIP and data and we shape it at PVCcir=64kbps (CIR=minCIR=64kbps, Be=0, Tc=10ms, Bc=Tc*CIR).

The other PVCs transport only data and have each a PVCcir=32kbps.

We apply FR traffic Shaping on all PVCs.

For the PVCs without VoIp we suppose a Tc=120ms.

To compute the Be value (Be=(line-speed * Tc) - Bc) for the PVCs without VoIP which is the line-speed we must consider ?

1) is it best using for each PVCs line-speed= (2048kbps - 64kbps), we subtract the PVC with VoIp

2) or is best line-speed=((2048kbps-64kbps) / 5) , we divide the remaining speed between the non VoIp PVCs

thanks

It would be best to use your second formula dividing the sum by the five remaining PVCs to get your line speed.
