Not able to set MWI numbers in CUE

I am running CUE version 1.0.1 with CME 3.0.3 running on IOS 12.2(15)ZJ3. I have the following DN configuration on CME for MWI numbers:

ephone-dn 53

number 8000 sec 8001

mwi on-off

I also have the following config on the CUE module:

ccn application ciscomwiapplication

description "ciscomwiapplication"

enabled

maxsessions 4

script "setmwi.aef"

parameter "strMWI_OFF_DN" "8000"

parameter "strMWI_ON_DN" "8001"

parameter "CallControlGroupID" "0"

end application

When I execute the CUE GUI and go to Voice Mail > Message Waiting Indicators > Numbers, I receive the following:

MWI on Number: < No MWI on Numbers Defined on ITS >

MWI off Number: < No MWI off Numbers Defined on ITS >

I can dial the MWI numbers from the phone and the indicators turn on and off.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Not able to set MWI numbers in CUE

This is misconfigured. Do this:

ephone-dn 53

number 8000....

mwi on

!

ephone-dn 54

number 8001....

mwi off

!

The 'number X secondary Y' may also work but the other way will work for sure. The dots (.) after the MWI extension indicate the number of digits of your ephones on the CME. So in the example above, you would have 4-digit extensions. This may need to be adjusted according to your environment.

After configuring this, save it, log in to CUE and press the synchronize link. It'll find the extensions and it'll work.
