Hi all,
We use public IP for all IP Phone 7960 and it works. We have NT Proxy server for all PC users. Can we use private IP through the Proxy Server for IP Phone 7960???
Thanks

Do you have HTTP proxy enabled or are you using WSP (WinSock Proxy) only?
With HTTP proxy, this feature will be supported with the firmware loads that will come with CallManager 3.1. I am not positive at this time if the scripting options to enable this will be bundled with the CallManager. I think more likely it will be part of an SDK for IP Phone Services, similar to the one currently available at:

Hi Dave,
Is there any way to use Private IP for IP Phone?? Like using NAT...

If you mean you want to have the IP phones on one side of the NAT router and the CallManager on the other, so you would need to translate the Skinny signaling, then yes, you can do this on an IOS router using 12.1(5)T or later. See this URL:

If you mean just for HTTP traffic from IP phones to an XML service on the Internet, then I don't see why there would be anything special to do this, and regular NAT on any box should work.
