number of rings for ip phone

Which service parameter in CCM that I can use to adjust number of rings before going to VM? I would like change it from 5 to 3. Thanks

The service paramameter is ForwardNoAnswerTimeout.

This doesn't change the number of rings but the amount of time in seconds.

It defaults to 12s - about 3 rings, so 20s should do for 5 rings.

You'll need to restart the CallManager service on every server in the cluster to pick up this change.

This parameter took effect on my 3.1(4a) CallManager without restarting services.
