number of Rings on IP phones

i am running call manager 3.3 with arround 250 phones. i facing a small problem on number of rings provided call manager. by default, it is only three rings then it goes vloice mail. i need phones to ring 6 times atleast, then move to voice mail.

Did anybody face this problem..? any work arround.

Here you go:

Its Service->Service Parameters->Call Manager->Cluster Wide Parameters (Feature - Forward), Forward NoAnswer Timer (Sec) and set it to the time you want.

Keep in mind this is a global setting for all phones.

What about a local setting for the specific phones that need a large number of rings.

It is a cluster wide setting. Not by individual phones.

If you want more rings, forward the 1st line a second line apperance.

I don't know if they have added a feature to release 4.0 for region or phone parameters. I would think they could build it into the software of the phone and then set it via the CCM Adminstration.

i did what you guided. 30sec provides me exactly 6 rings.
