Off-hook rining in CCM?

Does/will the CCM support off-hook ringing? The application is:

multiple users w/shared line, CFB from one to another. Customer desires that ring on these lines be disabled on all but one phone (receptionist). Other people pick up when they hear the ring on the main phone. This works fine if the main phone is on hook, but if off-hook, the next calls do not ring. The line appearances blink, but no audible ring. Can this customer need be met, or will it be possible in a future release? Thanks.
