My client doesn't have Exchange Backup Agent for Exchange. Do I get a good backup by performing the following(I know it works for Exchange - not 100% sure about Unity):

Shuts down all services for Exchange and Unity, Backup the whole server using normal file backup.

Systems Engineer
What if they are using ArcservceIT to backup their files and registry? (Exchange Option is what they don't have though we have requested that they get that) Can we still have a good backup doing offline file backup (by having Exchange Services & Unity Services turned off)? [This is for the upgrade that we are doing this weekend]
