One way audio with softphone over VPN

CallManager Ver 3.3(2) spC

Softphone Ver 1.3.3

PIX Ver 6.3.1

VPN Client 4.0.2 (D)

Cisco Softphone works fine local to CallManager, even across vlans, but over VPN we get one way audio. We have selected the VPN client address to use for softphone. The routing is fine as well, 2 hops in either direction. We have tried a Skinny softphone (IP Blue) and this works fine so I am happy that RTP is going across the tunnel.

Anyone got any ideas?

When a remote user is connecting in from home with their PC over VPN, the VPN server will assign

them an internal IP address. You need to use GetIP.asp file to find that internal IP address and set

it to the Softphone.

This way they will not have to manually do it.

In order to get the GetIP.asp you need to install the Web Admin on your CallManager.

You have to download softphone admin from Software center. Also refer the below link
