you probably have the "reprompt" option at the bottom of the greetings page for that user set. It may have gotten changed on the subscriber template page so all users created may have this issue (you can change it with BulkEdit off AnswerMonkey).
Head to the greeting page for that subscriber, select the active greeting (standard presumably) and go all the way to the bottom of the page. There's a check box for "reprompt the user...". If this is checked, the prompt will play again for the number of times set before advancing to the after greeting action (typically take message).
