Opening Greeting - not taking user input

The opening greeting says: "Thank you for calling. If you know your party's extension you can dial it, if you need a directory of users, press #"

Although the keys are setup for collecting input and sending to a call handler, they are not collecting the input. Also, the extensions are not being accepted.

So basically no user input is being collected. Any suggestions on what to look at or test?

Re: Opening Greeting - not taking user input

sounds like a one way audio issue... this is often related to multiple NICs - heres' a tech tip that may be helpful:

Re: Opening Greeting - not taking user input

Jeff, thank you for the tech tip. I think we found the issue. Although there is not a firewall that was stopping traffic, but the Call Manager and the Unity server are on two different vlans. While not necessarily a bad thing, the default gateway on the Unity server was pointing to the outside instead of to the switch that bridges the two vlans. We changed the gateway and it seems to be working now.

Thank you again for the assistance.
