I am in search of a Proactive/Reactive Op's Management tool tailored for an AVVID environment. That is, one that includes server/application monitoring, IP phones, QoS, WAN utilization, etc. Services from NetSolve and an offering from Integrated Research have already been considered. Does anyone know of any others?
We are using Cisco Works Routed WAN package, HP Openview, Cisco Voice Manager 2.0, Cisco QoS manager and we are adding Cisco Voice Health Manager as soon as we can get it. Cisco Works is interesting, since we run a cisco powered network, Cisco Works fits great to manage and monitor our entire network and avvid infrastructure from end to end. With the Cisco Voice Manager I can manage toll bypass implemnetations, and trace voice sterams down to the ip phone level. It's expensive, and time consuming to setup but so far it's been a hugh help.
