Optimizer

I have had to run optimizer a few times to correct message delays & a few other problems when call manager has a probem. It has fixed the problem every time. My question is, should Optimizer be run on a routine scheduled basis? (like weekly) I can't find any documentation on running this as a routine maintenance program. thanks

Re: Optimizer

You mean the exchange optimizer? Not sure how that would affect call manager specifically... in general when you add/remove 100 objects in the directory or so it's a good idea to run the optimizer when you get some time. In Unity 2.x when you add 50 users it actually adds 100 objects to the directory (1 for the mail user and 1 for the primary call handler which is stored as a "dummy" mail user in 2.x... not the case in 3.x). Keep that in mind when deciding when to run this...

if that's not the optimizer you're talking about, let me know.
