We have an IBM server which is approved by cisco for callmanager installation. Unfortunately it does not have a DVD drive, my question was that can i request for OS Disk2 on a CD or may be burn the DVD cotent onto a CD?
i haven't personally tried to burn the DVD to CD although i would hope the diskspace requirement would not be larger than CD.
better yet, you can order CD versions of the disks from Cisco if you have software maintenance. (if you dont have maintenance and the disks are new, you may be able to talk cisco into providing a CD version without additional cost)
if all else fails, get a DVD drive from IBM for that server type.
If you do not have DVD drive on your server then you have the WRONG OS for that server, the image will not matvh the hardware. FOr all servers that do not have DVD drive you should order a 2000.2.4 CD set & upgrade to the required higher release as dictated by the CCM version.
