Outboud calls failure

Hello

I am using CME 3.4 on a Cisco 3725 router with IOS 12.4(4)T3.

Inbound calls are correctly treated, but I cannot make outbound calls (tests made from line 66). The message "incorrect number is displayed".

Here are some portions of the configuration :

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 0T

direct-inward-dial

port 1/0:15

forward-digits all

telephony-service

dialplan-pattern 1 012345.... extension-length 4

ephone-dn 66 dual-line

number 5641

The command csim start [number] also failed.

Could you please help me ?

You must precede with "voice". For example:

old way

(config)#translation-rule 1

new way

(config)#voice translation-rule 1

The "old way" still works but does not support regex like it appears that you are trying to do.

One more thing, also it seems that old syntaxes for translation-rules no longer work, do you confirm thye change. I still did not found anything on cisco.com (example : rule 1 /.+/ /0123456789/ is not accepted)

The "forward-digits all" command will send the leading 0 to the PSTN and cause the call to fail.

Thank you all,

The numbering in France needs a 0, so it should be kept.

I will perform the tests by tomorrow morning with voice tranlation-rule..

Hello,

I made the tests with the correct command for translation.

I tested translation and it works but still outbound call are failing (even with csim start).

Are there any debug commands I can use to troubleshoot the problem ?

That's ok : I got the correct number of PRI timeslots from the provider and now, it works !
