Outgoing ISDN on CCME fails

tekha

Level 3

I just upgraded my C2650XM to IOS 12.4(9)T1 because I had instability problems with the old 12.4(4)XC2, the router had to be manualy rebooted from time to time.

This seems to be solved in the new IOS, however now I'm not able to make outgoing calls on the VIC-2BRI-S/T-TE. Why?

I didn't change the config after upgrading and incoming calls still work fine.

Here is the config, I hope something is wrong so I don't have to downgrade back to 12.4(4)XC2.

Debug isdn q931 shows what I would expect, however the Layer 1 Status of the ISDN doesn't change from DEACTIVATED to ACTIVATED as I would have expected, I think this is something to do with why dialpeer.

If anyone could help me out, I'll really apriciate it. And if you need more info, please write.

When BRI L1 status is normally deactivated, you need

no dial-peer outbound status-check pots

in global config.

Well at least now the Layer 1 status is ACTIVE, thanks.

However I'm still not able to make outgoing calls.

I think I need to go back to the unstable software :-(

Check output of debug isdn q931 and show dialplan number perhaps.
