I have users with Outlook Contact Number entries with +1 XXX XXXX
How can I create a dial rule to get around this?
Dialing from outlook gives call failed tone.

I meant to say there entries are long distance.
+1 XXX XXX XXXX
I have created a dial rule for just the area code begining with say 6 number of digits 10 no digit strip and prepend 19 this works great but some users have the + sign in outlook contacts and something is not liking that in the dialed digits.

Create an Application Dial Rule like this:
Number Begins With: +
Number of Digits: 12
Total Digits to be Removed: 1
Prefix With Pattern: 9
