Outlook Security Update

In June 2000 ActiveVoice e-mailed its customers. The e-mail indicated that ActiveVoice is testing the update for Outlook designed to protect users from viruses spread via<br>attachments in e-mail. Our customer wishes to do the upgrade to their Outlook clients, but has held off doing so awaiting news from ActiveVoice on the issue.<br> <br>Can you please share with us the results of that testing? Is the update supported by ActiveVoice? Are there any caveats if the update is applied? I went and checked with the QA folks and they have completed testing all the patches for Outlook 2000 from Microsoft that were pulicly available as of about 3 weeks ago (which should include this version you're talking about).

All the testing looked good from our end. Early next week I can post a specific list of all the patches they applied if folks are interested.
