When we tried to setup pager notification we receive a message like (sorry for the translation the original one is in french) "The phone number is not conform to dialing rules or you don't have the authorization". We verified the class of service, restriction table and ports and they are all ok. The call trasfer is working fine for the Call handler, we are using it to get tranfer to an external pager ("hit 0 to get transfer to my pager...."). Any help will be appreciated. TIA<br><br>
Check the restriction table for "Outcalling" on the account that is making the change (NOT the COS for the subscriber you are trying to configure notification for).
Unity enforces the transfer, outdial and fax delivery numbers based on the COS of the person making the change, not against the object your are changing. This way administrators can make changes for subscriber's dialstrings easily without having to change the COS the user is in to do it.
This is most likely the issue. If not, post the restriction table entries for outcalling, maybe it's a parsing logic issue.
