Passing post-dial digits to CTI route point

Our VM is integrated as cti route point to CM and is assigned an extension. It will prompt for extension and password after user pressing message button . We want to have one single button on 7960 to access the voicemail box directly with the question skipped. Stuffing extension and password into speed dial with # or * inserted does not work as apparently CM is not able to route the call. Any idea ?

I guess this is not going to work. The Callmanager can not route the calls if the Post-dial digits are dialed along with the CTI route point DN.
