Password incorrect during Unity upgrade or to access Unity assistance

I had a problem during Unity upgrade from 4.0(2) to 4.0(3). In the "Run the Cisco Unity Services Configuration Wizard", I choose accounts "UnityDirSVC" and "UnityMsgStoreSvc" and put the password but never accept with a message "The password incorrect" and event ID 529(Unknown user id or bad password) even it's correct. Finally, I added these accounts into the Unity's "Access the computer from network" at Local Policies and works fine. I added the UnityInstall and UnityAdmin and successfully finished the upgrading.

Also I cannot access the http://unity_server/web/aa from normal workstation with exactly same message and it works if I add the account in the Unity's local policies.

I think this is related to the AD but I cannot find why. any idea ?

Hi -

This sounds like a permissions problem to me. Have you run the 4.0(3) version of the Permissions Wizard? Even if you did not do this prior to performing your upgrade, I believe you can run it any time. It has definite enhancements since the 4.0(2) version and allows for more granular/specific permission assignments for individual message stores. Thanks your update. Yes, I ran the permission wizard with successful all. actually, I did all of steps related to the security even this is not new installation and finish successfully. I suspecting the AD environment but no idea how to troubleshooting.
