Pause In Speed Dials Impossible?

I'm having a hard time believing that there is no way to pause in a speed dial (so users can save a calling card number in their speed dials). I've seen numerous forum posts with no solution and reference to the feature request CSCec41905.

Are there any third party applications that can do this? What about the Speed Dial SDK? Has Berbee created an app to address this? Surely there must be some way?

You can make your destination pattern or route pattern with prefix commas. for your pots dial peer be prefix ,,, in the pattern
