When running the permissions 4.x wizard, I am getting the following error:
The account you are logged in as does not have permission to Act as Part of the Operating System. Grant this privilege, log out, log back in, and re-run the Permissions Wizard.
Any ideas??

The permissions wizard it asking the OS if the account has this right or not. If the OS returns saying that it does not you will get this error. Are the risk of stating the obvious here, does the account have this right? Let me know if you need pointers on out to check for it.
Thanks,
Keith

Hello -
This setting is found in the Local Security Policy, under the Security Settings, Local Policies, User Rights Assignment. Click on the User Rights Assignment in the MMC and "Act as part of the operating system" will be the second from the top. There are two settings, one for the Local Setting of the user/machine, and the Effective Policy (which may be getting overridden by a Site, Domain, or OU policy). Have you checked these settings to confirm your userid is enabled?
Sincerely, Ginger
