Personal Assistant - How does it define "internal" for routing purposes?

Hi everyone,

I'm running a solution where Personal Assistant users are using call-routing rules to route Internal calls differently to External.

Can someone tell me how Personal Assistant defines/recognises a call from an "Internal" source?

Thanks,

Stuart

Re: Personal Assistant - How does it define "internal" for routi

Hi Jorge,

I've read through the CCO document and still don't understand - I know CSSs and partitions define what a device/user can CALL (outbound).

My question is how does PA know (from a routing perspective) whether the calling-party is internal or external?

I would imagine it's to do with the number of CLI digits received or if the CLI is in PA's directory. I just can't believe PA looks up the directory every time it receives a call?

I really appreciate your assistance,

Thanks,

Stu
