Personal Assistant Problem

I am having trouble with Personal Assistant. When I do follow me and forward the calls to an external number it works correctly. When I do a dial by name to ANY external number (to the PSTN via analog trunk) PA replies that the number is invalid. I can dial out from the phone I am using. Also, on the gateway if I do a "show call active voice" the call is setup, but never completes.
