Personal Fast Dials URL

Hello.

I'm trying to modify the idleurl.asp code in the SDK to change one of the soft buttons to bring up the Personal Fast Dials service.

My question is: how do I pass the PreDial, UserID , and UserPIN in the URL? In general, how do you pass Service Parameters to the service from a soft button?

Thanks,

Dave

Re: Personal Fast Dials URL

You can attach the parameters to the URL using standard URL parameter syntax.

i.e.

http://callmanager/ccmpd/xmlFastDials.asp?PreDial=9&UserID=test&UserPIN=12345

In the example below, replace the ampersand sign (&) with the ampersand escape sequence (the character & followed by the string amp followed by a semicolon - a 5 character sequence (cannot reproduce it here as the forum escapes it).

e.g.:

<%@ Language=JavaScript %>

<%

Response.ContentType = "text/xml";

fastDialsURL = "http://callmanager/ccmpd/xmlFastDials.asp";

preDial="9";

userName = "test";

userPIN = "12345";

fastDialsURL += "?PreDial=" + preDial;

fastDialsURL += "&UserID=" + userName;

fastDialsURL += "&UserPIN=" + userPIN;

%>
