Hi guys,
I`m studying VoIP and I have a question:
What is the difference between a dial tone signal and Loop Start Signal?
Thanks.

Loop Start is supervisory signaling that indicates on-hook and off-hook conditions. Dial tone signal is a call progress tone that indicates the telephone company is ready to receive digits. Please see the following link for confirmation and a more in-depth discussion.
