pilot number and first voice mail port number

Can I use a number different than pilot number as the first voice port number? I have a pilot number is 7 digits, which is 5916992 , it is a DID number from carrier. Can I create first voice mail number 3000 instead of 5916992?

The pilot number needs to match the number for the first voicemail port. However, you can use a translation pattern or CTI Route Point to manipulate 5916992 to 3000.
