Pilot Point Busy Tone

Hi, I have just upgraded CallManager 3.2.3 to 3.3.3sr4. There are about 1200 devices, everything works except for one critical thing. All our pilot numbers are busy tone. The only apparent error message I get is the following message in Event viewer on the subscriber.

Error: kCtiProviderOpenFailure - CTI application failed to open provider

CTIconnectionId: 89

Login User Id: ac

UNKNOWN_PARAMNAME:ReasonCode: 2362179680

IPAddress: 10.10.101.2

App ID: Cisco CTIManager

Cluster ID: LBB-CM1-Cluster

Node ID: 10.10.101.2

Explanation: Application is unable to open provider.

Recommended Action: Check the reason code and correct the problem. Restart CTIManager if problem persists..

It looks as if it's trying to use an AC UserID which we haven't got as we're not using Attendant Console. I have also tried removing all CSS and partitions in case that was issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Daniel

Re: Pilot Point Busy Tone

Daniel,

For Pilot Points to work you still need the "ac" user configured in the Global address book and you will need to associate the pilot points with the AC user.

Hope this helps

Re: Pilot Point Busy Tone

Hi Glen, thanks for getting back to me.

I tried that earlier, I created the ac userid and associated all the pilot point numbers with it. Still didn't work though.

Re: Pilot Point Busy Tone

All sorted. Had to restart the despatcher service on publisher and subscriber.
