Please help : attendant console : is it possible to import speed-dial entri

Hello,

A client would like to import 10 speed-dial groups of 100 speed-dial entries in the 2 attendant console applications.

Does anyone know if I can import them starting with a text file.

Any help is much appreciated !!!

Re: Please help : attendant console : is it possible to import s

Hi,

Where they are stored:

- Go into DC Directory Admin

- Expand "Directory"

- Expand "CCN"

- Expand "user_info"

- Expand "_info"

- Expand & highlight "AttendantConsoleProfile"

- Double-click on "ACXmlData" in the right hand window frame. See if the field "Recorded name" has any data in it. That is the speed dials in an encrypted format.

To copy speed dials from 1 user to another:

This is tricky but can be achieved:

- Open the DC Directory administration

- Expand to Cisco.com - CCN - User_info

- Go to _info

- There is an entry AttendantConsoleProfile

- The ACXmlData is encrypted but you can copy it in the value of your other attendants.

Regards,

Michael.

Re: Please help : attendant console : is it possible to import s

It is odd. When I view that information using DC Directory, it is an encoded stream of letters. However, when I use a basic third-party LDAP browser, it appears as a readable XML stream. I don't know if DC Directory is not reading it properly, or if the LDAP browser I am using is decoding it for me behind the scenes. Hmmm.
