Please help: CTI-RP wont register!!!!!

Hi,

Im having an issue with a new CTI-RP.

I have CCM4.0 , IPCC Enterprise 6.0.

I did the following:

- created a new Route Point (with the same config as other existing CTI-RP)

- added a directory number.

- associated the CTI-RP with the JTAPI user.

But it still shows Registration:unknown.

On ICM side i already configured the dialed number/associated Calltype, script.

I did the following to fix it but nothing helped:

1- deleted and recreated the CTI-RP

2 Dialed the CTI-RP DN and checked "router log viewer" on ICM but it didnt show anything, so the problem is on Callmanager side.

Can someone help????

Is this the only CTI-RP that does not work or is it the onyl one in the system?

this is the new one that doesnt work, all other CTI-RP works fine.

The troubleshooting steps are fine but perhaps not in the correct order, try the following (in the exact order):

1.- Delete the CTI RP in CCM.

2.- Delete the JTAPI trigger in the CRA.

3.- Create a new CTI TP in CCM

4.- Create a new JTAPI trigger in the CRA.

5.- Associate the CTI RP with the JTAPI user.

6.- Restart the CTI Manager service in CCM

7.- Restart the engine in the CRA.

Why are you referring to the JTAPI trigger in CRA??? i thought this is just for IVR-PIM connection.

The CTI-RP that im using is associated with the JTAPI user in the PG (Callmanager PIM).

I didnt find anything in the Application log. In the SDL traces i just find (Block NoPotentialMatchesExist) after dialing the CTI-RP.

Can you please check the application logs n let me know if u r getting ny error messages or warnings regarding CTI Route point u r creating...

I made a forward all from that CTI-RP number to another extention of an IP-Phone, when i dialed the CTI-RP it rings on that IP-Phone. why it still Registration:unknown

Got it working, just restarted the CTI Callmanager!
