Running LearnTones. When I try learing any of the tones, auto or manual, I get the following error:<br>Port 1 Failure: Unknown voice service provider error. Unable to continue.<br><br>With Unity running, I am able to recieve and initiate calls on Port 1.<br><br>Any ideas?<br><br><br>schois
Got my problem corrected so I don't need LearnTone anymore. However, I still have the same error when trying to run it.
We integrated to an Intecom E14 switch w/ Dialogic 240 T1 cards. It was not recognizing a disconnect, so we tried to use the learntone. The solution was to rebuild the trunk group. But, after we got the integration working right, the learntone continues with the same error. Don't need it anymore but, may be a bug.
Either a defect or not supported. For the most part, T1 connectivity will support much more advanced disconnect supervision than disconnect tones. It typically happens with a bit sequence changes in the signalling. When the trunk group was rebuilt, disconnect supervision was probably enabled or modified so that Dialogic now sees a "clear forward" from the Intecom when callers hang up.
At any rate, you took the correct approach in getting the trunks changed.
