Power over ethernet model 7912 and 7970

Another question,

I use power over ethernet, is only sufficient insert plug rj45 in the lan port of phone?

Yes, all you need to do is plug in the ethernet cable to the phone and the phone will get power from PoE switch.

You may want to confirm your power requirements. The 7912 and 7970's are rated differently.

Depending on the type of switch, you may be able to get away with just plugging it in, but with the 7970, you may still need a powerbrick to make sure you get full power to it. If it is a 7971, those need even more juice. Check out:
