Has anyone ever seen an issue with a 79xx phone not configuring after a power loss? We've had great success with 2900 and powered switches until we hit the case where we use a wall power supply to the phone and the ethernet goes to a 3550 switch. After a power loss to the phone we never see the 3550 switch port become active again. We thought this might be the phone discovery protocol setup issue or the VLAN port security setting, but as far as we can tell these aren't configured on our switch.
