Is there any way to prevent a 7960 phone from forwarding all calls? I would like to disable the button...

Here's one way.... If you assign a Calling Search Space [to the CallForwardAll parameter on the phone/line] to a CSS that does not allow internal or external calling you have basicly disabled the button. The feature button will still be displayed on the phones but no call forwarding would be allowed. You could use BAT to change this on multiple phones/Lines all at once. Good Luck.

Yes, that will work but just a FYI. The button will still work, the user can still press the button and enter a number to forward to, you will have to tell your users that the button will let them forward but, as soon as a call comes in the person will hear a re-order tone.

Yep... I called a TAC case in on this and they confirmed this. They suggested I put in a feature request to prevent a user from being able to dial the digits if theur css would not allow the call to go through...
This is pretty lame....
