Trying to get a PRI running between a DT-24+ that we had lying around and a Nortel Option 81c. We have been able to get the PRI up and running but the admins of the PBX are unable to configure this PRI as a TIE line. They are only able to configure it as a DID truck. Because of this, the PBX strips all but the last four digits of the called number. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with Nortel equipment.
Anyone have a suggestion or an explaination as to why we can't configure a tie line.
To get the Meridian to be able to switch calls with more than 4 digits, you'll need to configure it as protocol S100 instead of D100, and make it the Network side. Configure the gateway as DMS100 user-side.
