Problem launching ADSchemasetup.exe on Win2K domain controllers?
I just tried running the ADSchemasetup executable on both of our AD controllers, to get AD prepped for the Unity 4.0.2 upgrade I'm planning, and got a Visual C++ run time error on both servers. The app attempts to launch, the error message comes up and the operation aborts.
I can get it to launch fine on a number of other servers, including our current Unity server (just to see it it launches), but it fails out when I try to fire it up on the ADs. The DCs are pretty vanilla. Both are running AD-integrated DDNS, SNMP and one is running the corporate DHCP server, but that's it.
Any ideas on what would be jacking it up? Video driver? Some process putting a lock on AD?
