I am using CAS to connect a G3 to a 3640. When I dial a remote extension from the G3 I get a pause then dial tone. After receiving the dial tone I call dial the same extension and get the call through.
Either the G3 is seizing the trunk to the 3640 without sending digits and dial tone is from 3640 or call gets to other side seizes far end pbx and doesn't send digits so dial tone is from far end pbx or key system. Debug voip ccapi inout and debug vtsp dsp should tell the tale. See this link on how to debug:
