I've got a Callmanager 4.2 and a 2811 router with an isdn PRI E1. Internally the call transfer run ok but when a call from outside is transfer to an internal extension, the call is transferred ok but you can't heard anything. But if you transfer an internal call to an external number It runs perfectly.
can you determine what is happening to the voice traffic once it is transfered? when you have this scenario, press the ? button on the phone twice to bring up network statistics.
note what codecs are in use, what the sender/rcvr size is in ms, what jitter is there, what packets have been lost or discarded? these can help point you/us in the right direction for further troubleshooting.
