Hi,
I have recently done an CM intergration with an alcatel PBX with E1 Qsig.The alcatel phones can call the Cisco Ip phones extensions and vise versa. The issue is the alcatel phones cannot use the telco PSTN PRI on the MGCP gateway for outgoing PSTN calls. Incoming calls to the alcatel phones work fine. I see in the debug isdn that only two digits are been passed e.g "99" to the gateway from the alcatel system.
I need to know is whether the CM is blocking the complete E.64 number or the addition digits is not being passed from the alcatel system itself ?
I have no partitions and CSS configured. The Cisco IP Phones can call out to PSTN using the ISDN PRI.
Following is the debug ISDN Q931 output from a PSTN call made from a alcatel phone 4238 to a GSM number 99431901.
Nov 15 11:04:46.478: ISDN Se0/3/1:15 Q931: RX <- SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x0438
Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A3
Standard = CCITT
Transer Capability = Speech
Transfer Mode = Circuit
Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s
Channel ID i = 0xA18381
Preferred, Channel 1
Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '4238'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
Called Party Number i = 0x80, '99'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
High Layer Compat i = 0x9181
Locking Shift to Codeset 5
Codeset 5 IE 0x32 i = 0x81
Nov 15 11:04:46.482: ISDN Se0/3/1:15 Q931: TX -> RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x8438
Cause i = 0x8081 - Unallocated/unassigned number
Any advise
Thanks
Brgds

Looking at the problem description, I think the probelm is with Alcatel PBX.

I agree. You can see from the debug output that the Alcatel PBX is only sending "99" as the called number.

Today is your lucky day, I think. :-) I was looking at some documentation on CCO and I ran across the following link. I remembered your issue and I think this solves it:

Hello Renzil,
Maybe try the following under your ISDN serial interface:
isdn overlap-receiving T302 3000
