Problem with did and mobile phone !

I have two connections to the PSTN. One via BRI and the second via QSIG+PBX. The Gateway is a 3640 with IOS 12.2(1a). CCM Version 3.1.2a.

In both cases when i try a call from PSTN direct to an IP Phone it works. The same from a mobil phone fails !!!

Mobil Phone via PBX and Qsig to the CCM i get several beeps and then the call is terminated.

Mobil Phone via BRI to the CCM i get a long beep and after then a message that the number is incomplete.

From an outside telephon, both numbers are working.

Have somebody similar experiences ??

Have had a similar problem, it turned out to be certain t3 timers that had to have their values made larger cured the problem.

The call setup time on mobiles can be longer than pstn therfore things start to time out.

will check settings and let you know. i am sure that Cisco have this document somewhere

my t3 timer values are:

t301: 180000

t302: 6000

t303: 4000

t304: 20000

t305: 30000

t306: 30000

t307: 180000

t308: 4000

t309: 90000

t310: 10000

t313: 4000

t316: 120000

t317: 300000

t321: 30000

t322: 4000

on the r3640, the value for t310 on bri interface is 40000. I never alter a timer value on the router or in ccm by hand.

try changing the following parms on Call manager

T310 60000

MediaInterfaceCapsTimeout 40

MediaExchangeTimeout 30

sending complete indicator T

(The system we changed these on was 3.0.8)

I would try it again with "isdn sending-complete " on the BRI Interface.

Hi,

i try all without success. I´ll get the same error.

After a restart from CCM-Server and the router, the connection from mobile phone via BRI works now. The changing of parameters have no more effect to the function.

My qsig config is:

interface bri1/0

no ip address

isdn switch-type basic-qsig

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn sending-complete

isdn static-tei 0
