Hi ,
Have anyone experienced the problem that when we do a fresh installation of 3.3 ( either 3.3.2 or 3.3.3 ) , we can't add or delete or consult the Global Directory ???
We receive the error :
"

The following error occurred while trying to load the requested page . Sorry , your session object has timed out.\Click here to reload\n "
Thanks

Hi everybody ,
It is because I have a non-DNS approved name for my server ...
With Localhost or IP Address , it works

Based on your Directory Implementation (DC Directory is default)... I have had problems when I built a fresh Publisher when I didn't have a live ethernet connection to the Pub's NIC. FOr some reason DCD bombs out after a full install if you don't have a live ethernet connection to the server. It can just be a hub port or a switch port, but just something to make the port live on the server.
Go into DC Directory via:
Start --> Program Files --> DC Administrator
Log in with "Directory Manager" and the pw (the pw of the system". See if you can move around in it. If not then perhaps you could uninstall DCD and reinstall it. Easier to probably just reinstall if its a new install.
