If one of the monitored Exchange Server computers goes offline, the Blackberry pager service may stop responding, or "hang." <br><br><br><br>CAUSE<br>This issue can occur because one thread is waiting for a server response to a remote procedure call (RPC). However, a response never comes because the Exchange Server computer is offline. In some instances, two other threads are blocked because they are waiting for the first thread to finish, and many other threads are blocked because they are waiting for a critical section that is held by one of the two threads. <br><br><br><br>RESOLUTION<br>To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 5.5.
