Problem with Unity Multihomed Exchange Servers

This is an excerpt from the Microsoft Knowleadgebase
, IS this pertinent to my previous post?
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q263/0/64.ASP

SYMPTOMS
The Blackberry pager service can monitor multiple Exchange Server computers for new e-mail activity. If one of the monitored Exchange Server computers goes offline, the Blackberry pager service may stop responding, or "hang."

CAUSE
This issue can occur because one thread is waiting for a server response to a remote procedure call (RPC). However, a response never comes because the Exchange Server computer is offline. In some instances, two other threads are blocked because they are waiting for the first thread to finish, and many other threads are blocked because they are waiting for a critical section that is held by one of the two threads.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 5.5. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Q191014 XGEN: How to Obtain the latest Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 4.

Additional query words:

Re: Problem with Unity Multihomed Exchange Servers

yep... you nailed it. The MAPI threading is cleaned up in SP4 and Unity 2.4.6 will take advantage of this to resolve the issue. See my other post on this topic from tonight.
