Problems with Message Notification

I configured message notification, and it correctly calls the user when a message is left and says if you would like to hear your messages, enter your id now. When you enter the ID, the call disconnects.

Which version of Unity? Switch integration?

any errors in the application event log when this happens?

when you say disconnect, it just hangs up on you right after you enter your ID without any prompt playing? No opportunity to enter your password or the like?

I found another post that suggested the problem probably was that the router was not matching the digits I was sending in when I tried to enter the ID. I created a voip dial peer on the router with incoming called-number .... and sure enough, that was the problem.
