Problems with SRST 3.0 and inbound calls

Hello,

I?m running a Cisco 2651XM-V with E1 Module and IOS 12.2(15)ZJ2. For failover this gateway is running SRST 3.0.

In principle everything is running fine except one issue. If I?m calling from a mobile that is sending its own calling party number to an internal ip-phone the call is not routed properly to the ip-phone but a b-channel is connected and I can hear a continous beep as ringback on the mobile.

A inbound call from a mobile without sending its own calling party number works fine as well as a call from normal phones in the pstn with and without sending its own calling number works fine.

Has anybody a idea what the problem could be ??

Thanks in advance,

Gerald

Callsetup form every other phone in the pstn

I am assuming your E1 is pri. In one of your pots dial peers, configure direct-inward-dial and please add incoming called-number .

This will force the call to be matched by that inbound dial peer.

Hi Taimoor,

adding incoming called-number . to my pots dial peer solved my problem.
