PSTN User Name Display

We have a request to display a Caller Name for a limited number if incoming calls on the 7940/7960 display. User Name is not part of the DID incoming setup packet, but Caller ID is.

What is the best way of achieving this?

Can we associate a known DID number with a User Name somehow, perhaps use a Calling Party Transform a pseudo phone owned by a named "Caller"?
